We have all witnessed the increasing pressures on children at younger and younger ages. We will discuss the cause and effects of stress on children, what stress and anxiety look like, and what we, as providers and teachers, can do to help them cope.

There are so many things we have to do during our day as we provide care for children and their families. In this session, we will examine ways to incorporate learning into our everyday routines and discuss easy ways to integrate the ECIPs into our daily activities. We will share tips on re-energizing our daily schedule, activities, and how to communicate all we do with our families.

Join your fellow child care providers from all across the region for a day of learning, sharing ideas, breakfast and lunch, free books and educational materials, and prize drawings. Everyone who enters their Develop number when they register can also earn 4 training hours.

$35 per person
or $20 per person only for providers who are part of the Northland Foundation's Parent Aware Pathways Initiative

Sara will address approaches for working one-on-one with children to build resilience and self-regulation skills, and share promising organizational practices that shape child care environments to promote student learning and success.
Sarah Fritsch presents Circle Time Fun, sharing positive ways to support children’s social and emotional development Getting stumped on what to do at Circle Time? Join us for this fun workshop and find out the many learning opportunities Circle Time can create. Participants will come away with new songs, finger plays, and activities to do with a multi-aged group of children. There will also be time to share your great ideas with fellow caregivers.
